Frequently asked questions
What is SkillSwap?
A marketplace for short paid 1:1 video consultations as a Telegram Mini App. Experts are independent providers; the platform provides booking, payments, and video.
How are sessions paid?
In Russia, a Safe Deal is used: funds are held until the slot ends and settled about 24 hours after the session when both parties participate successfully.
What counts as a successful session?
Both participants must spend at least 5 minutes total in the video call during the slot while the SkillSwap app is active.
Can I become an expert?
Yes. Switch to expert mode, create a session, and complete compliance onboarding for payouts (tax ID / INN, status as self-employed / sole proprietor / LLC, and card linking).
